Cat Snapp is the artist behind Cat Snapp Studio, a greeting card and paper goods studio in Everett, Washington. Cat Snapp Studio started in 2012 after Cat earned her MFA and BFA in Printmaking and began making blank journals and greeting cards as a fun side project. Her work has exhibited nationally and internationally and her works on paper are included in several public and private collections including the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art and the Rare Books & Texana Collection at the University of North Texas. Her work can be viewed in the publication 500 Handmade Books, Volume 2, by Lark Crafts. She has taught at all levels from university courses to kids’ summer camp classes. Her stationery designs are jam-packed with color and bold, wobbly hand-drawn imagery. They’re encouraging, funny and sincere. It’s her hope that by holding something tangible and handmade it highlights a moment in your day that doesn’t involve a screen. Because she puts love and joy and sweat and genuine excitement into everything she makes for Cat Snapp Studio, she hopes to foster handmade creativity in your DIY projects!
